I have been a true devoted fan of ICP FROM THEIR VERY START ALL THESE YEARS AND I STILL AM TRUE DEVOTED FAN TODAY AT AGE 60
The symbolism of this video is amazing and the message is so great. We have all felt like violent j at sometime. At the beginning he throws the book away and accepts his life and keeps feeling bad and having regrets. He finally listens to shaggys positive messages and realizes he is who he is and he can change while accepting himself in the process so he takes the clown hair and nose off and decides to be himself. He has no regrets and keeps pushing forward. He grabs the book out of the trash can because his story is not over it’s still being written! Anybody with mental problems wether it be OCD, Schizophrenia, bi polar or any other mental problems can totally relate to this song! Ty ICP you continue to inspire me!

Seeing J dressed as a clown gave me John Wayne Gacy vibes, tbh.
I started crying uncontrollably everytime shaggy would pop in, after Jay says it's nobody's fault but mine, with that ultra positive reinforcement and that little dash of humor. I pre-ordered Fred Fury & loved pretty much everything this era. This music video was extra fresh because they haven't really dressed in actual clown style since the Dog Beats/Carnage days. I'm from a carnie/performing background so I'm really into that aspect of their gimmick.

I was heavily into ICP from ages 15 to 23, but Hell's Pit was the last album I listened to.I veered into punk and industrial and kinda forgot about them. Then I suddenly had the urge to listen to them again and *holy shit* it was good. I went back and listened to everything I missed in the meantime and was really impressed by not only how much their music matured, but just the sheer amount of work they put in over the years. They *never* slowed down. It's inspiring and even empowering to see such balls.
